Part of the the show's entertainment though lies in the incompetence and arrogance of those working in the restaurants Gordon Ramsay sets out to rescue. The series rarely disappoints. But in actuality, he's got a big heart, is incredibly knowledgeable, and his producers and editors know what they're doing to make the episodes tell the story.
